What is a Giclee print?
A Giclee (pronounced “jhee-clay”) is a French word meaning “spurting ink”. A giclee is a high resolution inkjet print. Giclee is considered the world's best technique for reproducing original works of art.
Many artists may add some hand painted details to giclee prints to offer a subtle difference between them and make them more valuable than a regular print. Giclee prints are usually printed on professional fine art paper/canvas and not as expensive as an Original.
What is the delivery and processing times?
Delivery and processing times are based upon the nature of the product, and the shipping carrier.
Digital downloads are available immediately upon payment. If you purchase a digital image and do not receive the download link within 2 hours please contact me immediately at: email@example.com
Original artwork will be shipped from my home studio (in Maryland) within 2 business days. Your order will be shipped ground/standard (unless otherwise requested or necessary) and should reach you within 7 business days. Once the product has been dropped off for shipment at either UPS/USPS/FEDEX/DHL then the shipping delivery timeline cannot be guaranteed by me. Shipping insurance and tracking information will be provided with every order.
Giclee prints/canvas orders or any other product order is processed by an outside vendor and their delivery/processing times should be listed within the description of product. If they are not please contact me for verification.
Custom Orders vary depending upon request. If you are purchasing a custom painting, please allow at least 2 weeks for curing time before shipping. If you are opting for a resin seal, please add an additional week for curing. Once I create a painting I typically do not touch it for at least a week to ensure the paint is fully dry. Environmental temperatures can fluctuate and increase or decrease this process, especially if resin is included. Resin can be very temperamental dependent upon various factors. I have used dozens of different resin brands and have not found any two resin products to be the same when it comes to finished product, and drying/curing time.
Once I purchase a product, do I own the rights?
No! As the artist, I, Jennifer Schaefer of Bohobabe Studios, LLC am the sole owner of all artwork displayed and sold on Bohobabe Studios and all other affiliated sites.
As a buyer/purchaser, your rights are for PERSONAL USE ONLY!
You may not photograph/copy any artwork sold by me to use for profit, and or commercial use, and/or promotional materials, etc.
You may not share or resell any files for the same reasons as stated above.

Where should I have my digital download printed?
I personally use Miller's Lab for all of my professional photography prints/products and they have a consumer side available to non photography/business owners at www.mpix.com
I only suggest using a professional photography lab based printer/company for your works of art. :) You want to ensure your art is displaying the most vibrant colors on the finest linens :)
Where should I have my artwork framed?
If I personally need artwork framed I will visit my local framer (support small business!) or my local Michael's craft store.
If you are not located near a Michael's or other craft store, or have a local framing business, I suggest checking out one of the links below. I have not personally used the following companies but have seen them recommeded on several other art seller sites:
